5 Ways to Make a White Kitchen Your Own

My name is Danielle and I work on the Design team at Revive. Here are 5 design insights on making a white kitchen uniquely yours that can turn your space into a reflection of your own taste and personality.

1. Update Your Cabinet Hardware

Elevate your kitchen's aesthetic effortlessly by updating cabinet hardware. Simply swap out old handles and knobs for modern, stylish alternatives to give your space an instant and cost-effective facelift. So many styles and finishes to choose from. Everything from matte black, brass, brushed nickel to name a few. Cabinet hardware also comes in an array of styles such as bar pulls, knobs and bin pulls. Remember to always be mindful of function when selecting a knob versus a pull!

2. Apply Paint to your Cabinets

Transforming your white kitchen can be easy with a fresh coat of paint. A few applications can include full cabinetry paint throughout or applying to just the island or perimeter cabinets in a fun color to reflect your personal style.

3. Decorative Lighting

Illuminate your kitchen with style by incorporating decorative lighting. Install pendant lights above the island to create a warm and inviting ambiance, or task lighting in a sconce to instantly transform your kitchen into a visually stunning and well-lit culinary haven.

4. Backsplash to Reflect your design style

Revitalize your kitchen's aesthetic by introducing a thoughtful backsplash. Choose a vibrant tile or pattern that complements your design style, instantly adding personality and a focal point to the space while protecting the walls from splatters and stains. You can opt for an undulated texture like a zellige or a patterned mosaic to add some flair.

5. Install and Style Open Shelves

Infuse a sense of openness and style by incorporating open shelves. Installing shelves can help display curated items, from dinnerware to decorative accents, creating a visually appealing and accessible storage solution that transforms the heart of your home
